Vivianne assumed Frederick only wanted to leave this place of sadness because of his divorce.

It proved that he held no true place for her in his heart; otherwise, he wouldn't abandon her so abruptly.

"We've reached the place. You can leave now," Vivianne said coldly after dropping Frederick off at the hilltop mansion.

Frederick nodded and exited the car before walking toward the mansion. His mind was consumed with the impending journey to Valyr City and confronting the York family.

He paid no attention to Vivianne. Her eyes were already welling up with tears.
