"Ms. Mallin, if firing Frederick is even on the table, then consider my resignation as well."

Frederick had become an unexpected hero in the eyes of his colleagues.

Initially, Ivy intended a simple reprimand for Frederick. However, her impassioned words acted as a spark, igniting a firestorm of pent-up grievances among the employees.

With the exception of the "Priscilla Gang", the entire office seemed united. If this situation wasn't handled delicately, it could very well escalate into a full-blown strike.

Ivy was caught between a rock and a hard place. Grace's tantrum was a ticking time bomb. Offending Grace could trigger a mass exodus led by Priscilla, crippling the branch and shattering Anya's trust in Ivy's leadership.

Dealing with Grace directly wasn't an option either; a reprimand for Grace today would ignite another firestorm amongst the employees, already riled up by Frederick's passionate defense of equality.

With a resigned sigh, Ivy said, "Just this once."
