Chapter 61

Troy’s POV

The ice suddenly starts to shake and crack, I look around for Octavia to see she has killed the Witch, she’s looking around at wolves sinking through the cracks and the Witch falls in too, I can see the panic on her face as she starts to freeze the lake over again.

I hear a growl behind me but before I can turn around Damon’s hands wrap around my neck snapping it and just before he throws me in the water I hear Octavia’s scream then nothing.

“Hello child.” A voice speaks through the darkness.

“Where am I?” I ask I can’t see anything but darkness and feel cold.

“You are in what I like to call limbo, a between state if you will.” She speaks again.

“Why can’t I see you.” I don’t need to ask who it is I already know it’s Selene the moon Goddess.

The darkness doesn’t fade away but a women in white comes into view.

I gulp, “Mum?” I ask not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me or not.

She smiles at me her warm arms embrace me I feel like I’m dreaming I can’t even speak
