Octavia’s POV

“Laters Baby?” I hear Uhtred’s voice speak up behind me after Troy leaves the room.

I turn around, I’d forgotten he was still here waiting for me.

“Troy’s real big on nicknames” I say with a shrug.

“Mhmm so I take it things are going well between you two?” he asks arching an eyebrow at me.

“Yea I guess you could say that. He’s not what I was expecting that’s for sure.” I say smiling.

It is so good having Uhtred here we can talk about almost anything and he would never judge me even if he thinks I am being stupid.
