Chapter:38

Alex POV

We have been on the road for about an hour now only making two stops for gas and food and to use the restroom. We haven't done much speaking but I'm fine with that. The silence was comforting. It showed that we didn't need to always talk about something but just sit back and enjoy each other's company.

I look at the long,clear road ahead. I never thought to ask Mason where exactly we ate headed. For all I know he might kill me.

"What are you thinking about?" His deep voice interrupts my thoughts. I sigh in contentment and lay my head back. "Just about you...killing me." I say and he chuckles.

He grabs my hand that was laying in my lap and kisses the back of it. "I love you too much to kill you." He says and I blush a little. I'll never get used to hearing those words. "I love you too." I say back.

"So what should I expect when we get there." I ask nervously. I don't know anything about werewolves except the fact that they have mates, are very possessive and they are gorgeous
