Just as soon as she donned on the pearl earrings that came with the dress, she heard the sound of a knock on the door. She hurried threw away the thoughts in her head and kept her phone in the purse. She pinched the sides of the dress, lifted it and walked out of the room.

Serene opened the door and saw James who had come to receive him. He bowed slightly when he saw her and then lifted his head until his eyes fell on her face. Seeing the familiar and unfamiliar face before him, he was stunned speechless, his jaw fell and for a brief moment, he could not find any words to say to her.
