Chapter 42: Weaknesses

The next few weeks were the busiest in Jamie’s life. But she felt happy that she had a purpose and was learning so much. The only downside was that she did not see much of Raoul as he was constantly carrying out his duties. She often fell asleep and woke up in an empty bed. 

The days were filled with Elemental Guard training. Jamie had fitnesses and fighting skills in the morning, in the afternoon it was more academic. 

Jamie excelled in the morning sessions. She spent time in each of the four elemental fight sessions. This raised a few eyebrows at first,  but it soon became normal. Jamie started to make a few friends as well, one of them was Rose a water user and a fierce spear fighter.
