Forty Two

Lily's POV:

When I opened my eyes, I knew he was gone. He left even if he said he won't. I sat up and looked around. Last night felt so unreal. It felt like a dream. Maybe it was a dream after all.

I leaned my head on the bed rest as a sinking feeling gnawed in my stomach. I looked beside me and froze. It wasn't a dream. There was a familiar white lily beside me.

He had came. And left. But why? Why was he making it much more harder for me?

I touched it's petals with my fingertips as tears filled up my eyes before falling down my nose. He said he'd never leave me and I was such a fool to believe him again. I was such a fool to ever trust him.

I'm so tired of crying.

I took the flower and threw it at the wall. I hate myself for still loving him. How could he have just come up in my room? He knew I didn't want to see him. I hated him.

I was so busy crying that I didn't even see grandpa coming inside.

He looked at me probably surprised, then came towards me.

"Lily, what happened?" He aske
