Chapter 69 ~ Threatening Numbers

{Cayden’s POV}

I paced towards my mother. My ears couldn’t have heard right.

Isla might never wake up again?

“What did you say, mum?” I gripped her shoulders tightly. “Mum! What did you say?!”

“Isla is dying!” She cried. She had tears in her eyes. I wasn’t mishearing. She just said it. Isla is dying.

I turned to the Lord Luna and her tears looked more like blood in her eyes. She was sad and at the same time, she seemed furious.
