It took moments for me to escape my trance after watching him leave. I shook my head slightly, looking towards the direction he'd instructed me.

In a matter of hours I was going to have to face the entire pack, which solely from my vantage point seemed large enough already, just as large as the Rogue pack

And they'll have eyes on me and my son.

Shutting my eyes tightly I took in a breath. There was no time to waste then.

I followed his directions all the way to the exit door with no hitches. There was nobody that saw me as I slipped out of the pack house into the bright forest.

I found my way back into the house easily entering my room.

I needed to prepare for the introduction. It would be my first official impression of the pack after all.

In contrast however, Germaine growled within me.

‘If they try to attack us…’ she said within me, a mix of caution in her tone.

I merely smiled in return, shaking my head.

‘It doesn't matter how they see us.’ I told her.
