Antheia’s POV
The Alpha turned around and checked the food. He was silent. And his silence was scaring me, but above it, it is starting to break my heart again.
How many times does it have to break until it completely goes numb and die? Is this not a repeated torture?
He stirred the sauce and I could smell the aroma of it, making me drool more in starvation.
Minutes after minutes had passed
and he still did not speak.
Did he come to a realization already? That I am truly not worthy of him, tht he deserves someone better, someone whom he can brag about, someone that he can show to the other Alphas, someone he can display around and be proud of.
