Ginny’s Point Of View

I nervously dialled Prince Simon’s number, my heart racing with anticipation. It had been months since we last spoke, and I couldn’t help but wonder how he was doing. I missed him terribly, and the thought of him being with another woman made me feel sick to my stomach.

“Hey Ginny, it’s been a while,” Prince Simon answered, his voice calm and collected.

“I know, I was hoping we could catch up,” I replied, trying to sound casual.

“Sure, I’m free later tonight. How about we meet at the park?” he suggested.

“Sounds great,” I replied, trying to keep my excitement at bay.

I spent the rest of the day anxiously waiting for our meeting, my mind wandering to the past. Prince Simon and I had been in a relationship for years, but things had ended abruptly when he had announced his engagement to Princess Golder. I had been devastated, and had spent months trying to win him back, but to no avail.
