Prince Simon’s point of view

I was sitting on my bed, staring at the wall in front of me, deep in thought. I had a feeling that Ginny was going to call me, and I didn’t know how to handle it. The last time we saw each other, things were complicated, to say the least.

But then my phone rang, and I knew it was her. I hesitated for a moment, but then I answered, my heart pounding in my chest.

“Hello?” I tried to sound calm and collected, but my voice betrayed me.

“Simon, it’s me, Ginny,” she said, and I could feel the tension in her voice.

“Ginny, hi. How are you doing?” I said, trying to keep the conversation light.

“I’m fine, thanks. Listen, I was wondering if we could meet up. I have something important to talk to you about,” she said, and I could tell that she was nervous.

“Sure, Ginny. Is everything okay?” I asked, concerned.

“I’ll tell you when we meet. Can we meet at the park by the lake in an hour?” she asked, and I could hear the desperation in her voice.
