Chapter Thirty-Eight

The three of them stared at her with blank looks on their faces. Kevin chuckled "Isn't it a bit early to think of mates right now?"

She glared at him "Of course not. I for one would love to meet my mate right now and I'm sure we'll live happily" she said with a giggle. Jake shook his head at her "This one is a lost cause."

"I tell ya" Nacen nodded making them to laugh at her. She shrugged not caring. "Whatever, I don't care. I will wait for my mate. I hope he knows I'm waiting for him". Nacen smiled at her.

"I'm sure that the guy that ends up as your mate will love you. If he doesn't we are here to deal with him" the others nodded in support. She grinned at them.

"Thanks you guys are the best but I doubt that happening."

"Anyway" kevin cut in "Let us just enjoy the party tonight okay?"

"Okay" they all chorused.
