Chapter 11.2

It was already lunchtime when the Alpha pair visited the manor. 

Since last night was the celebration of his parents' mating anniversary, there was still food in the kitchen. Passed-out bodies still littered the main grounds, but the hallway was relatively quiet. Rooka knew from the past anniversaries that his parents would still be in their chambers, so he was surprised to see his father in the office. 

Khalid looked at his eldest son. Although he had accepted Wayne as his, this man standing at the open door of the office was his flesh and blood. The pain they have caused was not easy to forgive, but then again, if they did not do the decision, hundreds of alter babies would have been killed. 

Father and son looked at each other. Weighing who should talk first, trying to form the words on how to explain the events that lead them up to this point.
