Chapter 13.3

Looking at the four noisy people eating at the balcony of the café, no one would think one of them nearly died.

The canapés, pastries, teas, juice, and carafe of coffee in front of them, made every patron wonder if they consumed everything. They DID eat everything, but it was a slow process.

Megan was enjoying her raspberry cheesecake while having a cup of cold Americano. Serena was having the last slice of the Key Lime pie they had, with a tall glass, yes, a glass of affogato.

The proprietor was horrified by the request, yet when he served the drink and saw the delight of the woman, he could not feel anything but joy.

The twins were sharing a banana sundae with a cup of espresso.

A normal human would hole up and cry. They would not even set foot outside for years. But Megan and Serena? They were the opposite.

“Bhe, sasabihin mo ba kay Wayne?” asked Serena.

[Bhe, should I tell Wayne what happened?]

“Gago ka ba! Fhota, paka hindi na ako maka labas ng jet pag sinabi ko ha,” Megan replie
