Chapter 56 Sleepover

Kianna and Ares arrive at their house. While on the road, Kianna tries to talk to Ares, but she doesn’t know how to start it. It feels like something is wrong with them. When they entered the house, Ares immediately went into the kitchen.

“Hon, what do you want for dinner?” Ares asked.

“...Mhm… Can we have a steak for tonight?”

Ares opened the fridge, and luckily there was a two-pack of steak in the fridge. “Alright, I guess we will have steak for dinner!” Ares said as he grabbed the two-pack of steak.

The joy Kianna felt was only enough to make her clap.

“The steak needs to be taken out of the freezer first and left out until the steak is room temperature. Then I can begin prepping the steak,” Ares said.

While waiting for the steak, Kianna and Ares decided to watch a movie. They were comfortably seated on the sofa while Ares was hugging Kianna. There were ten minutes of total silence, and the only thing they did was focus on what they were watching until Kianna looked at Ares.
