The both of them were now settled on the chairs around the island, their faces displaying the painful thoughts flying in their minds.

Anna stared hard at the night scenery outside the kitchen window and her father kept his gaze on the marbled top.

A sigh escaped Anna whose brain could not help but recall the part where her father confirmed the situation around her sister's death.

"I don't get one thing," she broke the silence and her father raised his head. "Why did this cop decide to let us know the truth now? Why didn't he do that a year ago when we were all searching for the truth? "

" H-he recently lost his child. Perhaps he understands how much it hurts to lose one's child, he couldn't hold himself back when he met your mother by chance."

" So, what is going to happen now? Who do we meet with this new information which we cannot prove? " Anna's shoulders danced at intervals as she asked her question.

"What do you mean?" Her father reached for her hands which were idle at that mome
