“Good morning!”
I joined Dimitri and Violet, the only two that were still eating on the breakfast table.
Seeing as it was past ten, the rest finished breakfast long ago.
Violet returned my cheerful greeting as she leaned backward on her seat, her mug of coffee wrapped around her hand.
“Someone is in a good mood,” Dimitri grinned, like usual, talking with his mouth full, making it almost impossible to understand him.
I just shrugged and sat down next to him.
You can’t blame me for feeling cheerful when somebody just admitted that he thinks I’m beautiful. His thoughts of me never crossed my mind, hell, he made me believe that I was simply a burden to him, so hearing that cheered me up.
