7. SURVIVAL

I cannot deny that I am not exhausted with all these new faces but I began to adapt faster than I had thought I would. The strange face that barged into my room without courtesy was apparently my elder brother. How can a brother be so full of spite? Well that’s because he’s my step-brother.

With the way I and Bea scanned him, he was a bitter and wicked person to the princess so they didn’t get along. He must have been happy that she was lost but now that she came back, he failed at hiding his bitterness of her return. I could deduce immediately that he’s someone I need to beware of, with the look on his face, he’s an enemy of the lost princess.

“You are really back” he blurt with a scoff that expressed bitterness.

My eyes rolled unintentionally at the absurdity of his first sentence to someone who was lost and I didn’t know when “What is it? Are you not happy that your plan didn’t work?” flew out of my mouth and he raised his brows to counter my claim.
