Impressed

Lucas POV

I woke up from a coma, and after a few days, I was happy to be back with my family. It felt great to be included in their lives again. It felt even better to see the progress my team had made in my absence. I couldn't stop raving about the new developments, particularly Leon's contributions. For the first time in my life, I felt proud of him.

"I am so impressed; I never knew he could do that. That's a good sign that he's a changed guy," I said, my smile widening. Adam, my best man, didn't seem convinced.

"I don't know, but I doubt it. I've seen too much of his past to believe he's truly changed. Let's hope I'm wrong." Despite Adam's doubts, I was willing to give Leon the benefit of the doubt. I believed that he could leave his past behind, and that he had the potential to become a better person. I was determined to show him that he still had my trust, even if we weren't on good terms.

"What if that's not true, do you think he will want to go back to that type of life?
