Allie's POV

"I will be with Aaron," Mrs Smith says, leaving me to dwell in anticipation for the sudden private dialogue.

"Allie, " he called.

"You don't need to continue with the deal anymore" he announced, resting his back on the comforting chair.

"Why?" I asked, obviously dissatisfied by the declaration. Even though it would be a weight relief, I have a misconception about this. Why all of a sudden when I think I can have hope? I'm comfortable with Aaron now I guess, and the one I could lure him to date if possible is set.

"Because you now have your responsibility upon your own life Allie. I had brought it up because I thought you were the right one to push him up to it. I should have considered your personal life too. Let's cut it here" he briefed me on his reasons without me asking.

Like seriously? because I'm now dating doesn't hold me to be against my task. This is ridiculous.
