Chapter 51. Your Tears, Professor (III)

The high steep hills overlooking the Indian Ocean on the south side of the island of Java were an attractive sight for anyone. The green trees combined with the blue sea were no less exotic to be captured in photos. Natural beauty was only one part of this republic to be adored.

Not far from the hills, heavy equipment such as tractors and trucks carrying stones have been busy since that morning, even 3 hours before the Siupala University senate meeting started at the hotel 75 kilometres to the north.

A middle-aged man stood in the middle of the construction site of a luxury shopping centre that his company was working on. He was busy talking to the rest of the project workers.

"How is the development of our project?" the middle-aged man asked.

"It's going well, Sir. For the next week, we will focus on levelling the soil and transporting limestone that blocks the building's foundation points," Sarman said, one of the workers.
