Madison was unable to move from where she was standing because Dylan was holding her captive in his arms. She could only watch as Dexter turned his back on them. While she was still crying, she had no intention of releasing her hold on Dexter at first, even though tears were streaming down her face. She was taken aback when Dexter abruptly grabbed her hand and tightened his grip on it.

After that, Madison was caught off guard when Dexter made such a statement to her. Before, he did reveal his affections to her, but she informed him in all honesty that she could only treat him as her friend, and nothing more than that. Despite this, he did not abandon her and was there for her when she required the support of a friend who could listen to her anguish. Whenever Madison saw Dexter walk away, she would start crying and just stare blankly in his direction.

She wanted to confront Dylan, but she didn't want him to see the snot and tears that were running down her face. Dylan didn't appear to
