Lana had no clue who this was.

When it came to cooking, she only followed what she liked and what her intuition told her. She had no clue who was what in the chef world.

Lana could feel the man's gaze on her. However, she ignored it since the competition was starting.

Glancing at the other competitors, she noticed Kayla was also looking at her strangely. Lana shot her a friendly smile, but Kayla only rolled her eyes.

So Lana waited for the host to list out the competition's rules.

"Things will be a little different today. The rules of the competition are set by Michelin-star chef Franklin Cage. You may choose to cook with any technique and ingredients. However, you must follow the chef's given theme."

With that, Franklin raised a board with the words 'Surprising, Rare, Exquisite' written on it.

This was the theme the chef had chosen for today's competition.

"He's a Michelin-star chef, alright. Even his theme sounds strange."
