Lalaine thought her lips would be crushed by Vincent's violent kiss on her.

"H-Hey, V-Vincent! What's wrong with you?!"

She poured all her strength to push the man away.

"Why, Laila? Do you like that Roman more than me?! You said that you are just using him to get close to me! Why do I see you behaving differently now?! You made me feel that you're just telling an untruth!"

"Can you blame me, Vincent?! Roman is a good person! He's not hard to love, he doesn't have so many issues unlike you!"

The expression on the man's face firmed up.

"So, you actually love him? Then, what? Are you heading to neglect me?"

"What am I to you, Vincent?" she asked the man dauntlessly.

"I've asked you this before but I would like to ask it again. I'm expecting that you already have an answer now. Do you still love me?"
