Chapter 20 - Pt 1
Seated in Steven’s office, I wonder why he sent a message to wait for him here after school. He hasn’t spoken to me since dinner on Sunday where he announced he found someone to train me every day after class.
And now I’m a little on edge, especially after what happened earlier today. After Lillian practically dragged me out of the cafeteria, she hurried me into the girl’s bathroom where she promptly told me I just landed myself in deep shit. The next day at school, Miss Rosa acted completely fine despite her weird behaviour yesterday. She’s acting so cheery that I’d wondered if yesterday had simply been a figment of my imagination. Someone lets out a screech of pain when hit and the three of us hurry forward. Everyone started to disperse into the forest and the girls run opposite ways into the darkness, unsure of who to follow I continue forward, especially when I heard another screech of pain.
