Alexander drove fast, almost racing to the restaurant , when he and Alexis had arrived at the airport they greeted them warmly but there was some tension he could sense in the air . It was his sister that pulled him aside and showed him the malicious interview of Mr Smith .

He rushed the goodbyes and raced to the restaurant hoping Alicia wouldn't run and would just stay and explain things to him .

Driving into the parking lot he vaguely saw her run into a taxi and just before he could turn around his car a police car blocked his path .

“ Shit! ” he screamed as the taxi Alicia was in drove away fast escaping his view . An overweight officer stepped out of the vehicle and tapped his window. It took all the self control within Alexander to not zoom away and chase after Alicia.

But he couldn't because his daughter was in the car , he didn't want to give her the wrong example or endanger her life . He took a deep breath .
