As Alpha Cade made his way to his room, he couldn't help but agree with Lukas, though he hated to admit it. Lukas was right; Cade thought he was the one who had done the most damage. The memories of how he treated Zyra flooded his mind. He shook his head vigorously, trying to dispel the thoughts, and poured the remaining alcohol from his bottle into his mouth.

"Ya’ll are petty! How could you be scared of that little thing called Zyra!" he yelled aloud, running his hand through his hair in frustration. As he headed towards the bathroom, contemplating spending the rest of the night drunk in the bathtub, a knock on the door interrupted his thoughts. He frowned, annoyed at the persistent knocking.

"Haven't you guys had enough?" he muttered, rolling his eyes. The knocking continued, and with a sigh, he walked to the door to see who it was. When he opened it, he found Aria standing there with an unreadable expression on her face.
