Ryan pushed open the main door to the mansion.
He saw his parents clad up in business suits. His dad was on a phone call while his mother used a laptop as she sat on the couch.
He frowned slightly as his mum looked up at him and gave him a small smile.
Kailene sighed sadly and returned her gaze back to what she was working on with the laptop. She knew Ryan was still mad at them for leaving him when he was eight.
She still recalled how he had reacted when they finally returned.
