Ryan entered his bedroom and sat on his grand king sized bed with violet silk sheets, all expensive looking.
Ryan glanced at his phone that laid on his nightstand and grabbed it.
He went through his contact list and dialed Dylan's number.
"Hallo!" Dylan's voice echoed from the other end.
"Hey Dylan," Ryan said. "What's up?"
"Ryan, Ryan, my man! Who'd have thought you'll of all people would call me!" Dylan chuckled. "I'm actually pretty cool," Dylan said.
Ryan heard some music playing at the end of where Dylan was. "Are you at a party?" Ryan couldn't help asking.
"Yes! Your--" Dylan caught himself quickly. "You're at home?" He said instead.
"Hm mm," Ryan hummed in response. "I actually thought we could hang out today."
"Oh, sorry man," Dylan said.
"No worries, bye
Ryan took in a deep breath. Lots of people all around were talking and congratulating him.His teammates stood with him as people came to shake his hand one after the other."That's Jamie," Suzanne nodded at the green haired boy that approached them. Jamie was with a guy that had long black and violet hair and mauve eyes."That's Charles," Suzanne told Ryan as they got to them."He's annoying," Ashley whispered as she leaned nearer to Ryan's ear."Yo! Celebrant!" Charles grinned as he gave Ryan a playful slap at the back. "Um...," Ryan moved away. He didn't like strangers touching him."Happy birthday," Jamie said politely and smiled."Did your aunt make it?" Ethan asked looking around.Jamie nodded. "She's over there chatting with my parents." He pointed at some people talking and holding fruit wine glasses, standing
"Man, it's raining hard," Justin said as he looked out of Suzanne's class window. The bus they ought to take had broken down. Suzanne watched the lightening flash and crack again."Looks like a storm," Annabelle who was seated beside them said. Justin nodded in agreement."How will you get home now?" Suzanne asked Justin. He closed his eyes and smiled, "Don't worry about me Suzanne, my driver's picking me up."Her eyes widened. "You have a driver?!"Annabelle snorted, "Justin family is also filthy rich, he's just a humble little soul."Justin frowned at her. "You say it like it's a bad thing," he said and crossed his arms."Okay, bye. I have to find my level I guess," Suzanne said as she proceeded to leave the classroom."I could drop you off also," Justin suggested."No thanks," Suzanne said and
Ryan frowned to himself as he knocked sharply at Suzanne's door.Ashley, Andrew and Ethan stood behind a building where they could watch him.He frowned as he glanced towards their direction.Ashley pointed at Suzanne's door while Ethan who stood behind her scowled at him. Andrew just leaned on the wall, using his phone.Ryan rolled his eyes and faced the door again. His teammates had dragged him to apologize. He knocked again before the door was thrown open."Hey....Ryan," Suzanne said a bit startled to see him. She was already better but she didn't expect Ryan of all people to drop by to check on her."Suzanne," Ryan briefly glanced at her before looking away. "Could we talk? For a minute?"She smiled and nodded. She closed the door and stepped out."Yeah!" She replied cheer
Ethan, Suzanne, Ashley and Andrew were in school garden.Ethan laid on the grass while Ashley knelt in front of him, bent over a textbook. Andrew sat not too far from them, his legs were crossed as he sat down. He kept his laptop in front of him and a textbook was by his side. Suzanne was furiously scribbling away in a book. She sat beside Andrew."You won't get the formula by cramming it only, you've got to practice it," Andrew told her boredly after stealing a glance at what she was doing. They were all studying Mathematics together."Waahhhh!!" Suzanne wailed and canceled down all the formulas she had been transferring from a textbook to her jotter."Don't be too rough Suzanne, you needn't have canceled it. You'll still need to know the formulas to get the solutions right," Ashley told her with a smile."I hate Mathematics!" Ethan groaned and slammed the t
"What?"He raised an eyebrow at her. "You wanted me to get you a can of sprite didn't you?" She nodded. "Well, I need the money to get you your drink." He told her.She looked away."I thought you were treating us," Marissa said in a meek voice."No." Ryan replied in a cool tone. "I'm treating my team, Squad 10. You're just studying with us; you aren't one of us. So you're paying your bills yourself."She hid her embarrassment with a small nervous chuckle."Of course!" She said brightly, as she fished into her purse for money. "How silly of me to assume you'd help me out as well.""Yes. It was quite silly of you," Ryan said coldly as he collected the money she gave him before walking off.Suzanne stifled her laughter as she covered her mouth and looked away.Serves her right. She thought gleefully.
Suzanne smiled in her sleep as she turned on her single bed.Suddenly she heard a noise, like the one an alarm clock would make. With her eyes closed she felt the top of her bedside table for her alarm clock. She wanted to put it off.She frowned slightly when the space was vacant.Right, it hasn't been replaced yet. She thought tiredly and kept her pillow over her ears. The noise grew louder."What the heck is that?!" She groaned as she sat up in bed, highly annoyed. It was dark in her room but she knew she wasn't alone in the room. Two figures were standing by her door, she could see part of their shadow. She frowned and flickered on her lamp. She saw that the annoying noise was coming from a device Andrew held in his right hand. His eyes were trained on her, he was fully dressed. Beside him was her brother
"If you can't be skilled in attack you must be extra skilled in defense and the number one way to defend yourself is by running away," Andrew said as he walked towards hismachine which he had brought along to the open field that served as a training ground for running or any other outdoor sport activities.Superhero High was always open 24/7 as that was where all the D-ranks and below trained and the training could be at any time of the day or night. Some CINs were stationed there and had to do shifts as well to monitor the upcoming heroes.Even though it was still early in the morning, the whole area was brightly lit up as it all belonged to the Hero League.Ryan sat on the track a bit tired. He had worn a purple overcoat as the weather was chilly."So that's it? We just run?" Ryan asked skeptically. He couldn't believe Andrew had come all the way to h
Suzanne sighed once the closing bell rang."Finally," she grinned to herself as she packed up her books in her bag.Annabelle came to her seat just as she stood up. "Suzanne," she started on a natural tone, "Since you guys aren't planning Ryan's birthday party anymore, we're going home together today, right?""Sure," Suzanne nodded and they both started walking out of the class."Pity you got sick some days ago," Annabelle commented."Yeah," Suzanne said. "I still can't believe Justin and Ryan fought over me."Annabelle frowned slightly and pulled Suzanne back, "Don't let Justin know I told you. He so badly didn't want you to know about the fight."Suzanne nodded.Annabelle then kept her hands on her hips. "And also don't make it sound like that! Ryan would never fight over you. Like I told you
