Chapter 92

Audrey burst into laughter immediately after Sharon sighed out of the talk show. "What's this?" Audrey asked looking at her laptop. "Did I just watch a soap opera or something?" She asked again. The ending wasn't just what she expected. She wasn't sure what she was expecting but she knew for sure that the way the talk show had ended wasn't just the ending she was expecting. 

"Do you think this is the time to shine your teeth like a fool," Audrey turned towards the door and saw her mother Carolyn. She didn't need to ask her if she was okay since her facial expression and the tone of her voice already answered that. 

"Pack your back, we are going back to New York," Audrey raised a brow at her wondering where that was coming all of a sudden. 

"Mum, I thought you said you were planning something and that I don't have to lift a finger?" Audrey asked just to be sure she remembered correctly what Carolyn had said.
