Leaving the dreamlike Milford Sound and returning to Queenstown, making reality hit Elora once again. She was still lost in the moments with Caspian, so when Brittany greeted Caspian at the castle entrance, Elora felt like someone had punched her in the stomach.
Caspian immediately jumped down after parking the car. Brittany walked quickly to him, burst into Caspian’s arms, and whispered something in his ear while wrapping her arms around Caspian’s neck.
From where Elora was standing, she could see Caspian’s back was shaking lightly with laughter. The two walked hand in hand into the castle, leaving a stupid-looking Elora with a bag full of clothes and a face as gloomy as a cloud.
