Two Werewolves, One Mate

Zed walked beside Elora, taking their usual route to the training grounds.

It had been a few days since Elora had returned from Milford Sound. During that time, miraculously, Elora could pass the moonlit nights in peace. Very rapid progress, but deep in her heart, Elora knew this would not be permanent. Because Elora hasn’t really been able to control her changes and powers.

Elora then remembered Arapeta’s words when she said goodbye to his home.

“What you’ve accomplished this week is nothing but luck. You still have to train, harder than before, or you’ll come back to the same point.”

Elora pondered those words the whole way until Zed spoke to her.

“So, Milford Sound. How is it there? You must be a bit surprised by Arapeta.”

“What an eccentric grandpa,” said Elora. “Life without electricity—” Elora was at a loss for words and could only give a thumbs up.
