Chapter sixty-five

Kathleen paced the house waiting for Derek's return, she felt tensed and wondered if he also blamed her for what had happened, did he also think she would harm Kyle on purpose? She heard the door open as he came in, his gaze flickered to her but didn't say a word to her, "Derek, I didn't do it on purpose, please believe me"

He made no response as he pulled his clothes and hit the shower, he was so exhausted as he hadn't had a moment of rest, after a busy day in the office, he had come back home to meet the incident at home and without even stopping to change, had rushed Kyle to the hospital and had stayed with him for quite some time, it was almost midnight and his head aches, he needed a good sleep.
