I can’t stop smiling. As soon as he says yes, I look across the table at Brandon and wink. Even if we have nothing in the area, we will find a friend with something so we can go.
When Kai blurts out the location of the town, I immediately pull up a map on my phone and start searching. My smile falters a bit when I realize I have nothing remotely close to that area.
However, when I glance across the table at Brandon, my smile immediately bounces back as his eyes sparkle, and he nods.
