41. Knowing Maggie
Maggie came home with her frowned face. She can't believe that her ex-fiance just kick her out of his house even after she confessed everything that happened in the past.
"That asshole. He's not worth it for me. Mom, maybe I can just forget about his money and just give up." She told her mom after she saw her in the wine bar area.
Her mom was drinking alone there. She slowly gulped one sip of red wine in her mouth and put down the empty glass on the bar counter. He took a deep sigh as her eyes shifts towards her.
"Why give up now? Your ex-fiance is now a multi-billionaire so why the rush?", she raised her brown shade eyebrows at her.
Maggie came closer and sat beside her. She took one empty wine glass and ask for a toss.
" Give me that. I want to be calm." She said and drink the whole glass of wine into her mouth.
