Ten minutes earlier...
Asher feel the mattress with his hands to check if Max was beside him but the bed is now empty beside him. He quickly got up to check her to the bathroom but she's not there either.
"Why she didn't wake me up?", he mumbled while putting back his summer shorts and a white t-shirt.
He hastily twisted the knob to open and looked around to see if Russ was out or Maggie. He knew that his ex-fiance wanted him to love her again but that's not gonna happen. Yes, he loves her head over heels but it's all from the past and not anymore at this time.
After he confirmed that two of them weren't visible in his bare eyes, he decided to amble going to Max's room.
After he reached it, he knocks. He is very excited to tell her about his proposal. He wanted to tell her that he want her to be his girlfriend. He keeps stomping his feet on the floor while waiting for Max to open it.
