Asher POV
I am going to my friend Russ to get some fresh air. I can't believe that my mom opposed my plans on getting married. For the past three years, I wasted my youth and happiness thinking that I am not going to love again.
Max Lopez came to my life unplanned and it's the least I expect it. In her, I saw myself spending fifty years of my life drinking a cup of coffee with her. Now that I am ready to find my true happiness, she will break it?
"Argghh, why it's so traffic?", I muttered this evening.
I decided to call Russ if he's still awake.
" Hey, can I come to your place? I want someone to drink with." I said on the other line.
"Oh, sure. I can't sleep either." He told him and Asher cut off the line after.
He took a deep breath and continue driving after the traffic jam. He reached Russ's apartment and he quickly let me in after I called him that I just arrived.
