Ashley was on her laptop, she almost got accepted for a particular freelancing gig. But they requested some documents for her to be eligible to work for them. Most of her documents were in that mansion. Now she has to go and get them.

Most of her stuff was there anyway because she left with just her bag after the altercation with Reyes.

Ashley stayed awake working on this particular thing, now she got it, they need some documents.

"Good morning Mom," Ashley said with a frail voice. She just came out of her room after perceiving a tantalising aroma. Her stomach had been gurgling all night but she neglected it. Busy trying to get a job or something. And she won't still pay attention to it till she completes her task.

Margaret whirled around to face her as her eyes glistened. " My baby, what is going on? " she exclaimed, looking at Ashley and the dark circles over her eyes.

Ashley sighed deeply and started going towards the refrigerator. " I didn't get to sleep at all Mom" Ashley said, o
