CHAPTER TEN: Hell

We both stopped in front of the creative hand’s booth which is our department’s booth. We laughed and chased after our breaths.

A familiar figure passed by as if she didn’t saw us. She was looking and floating ahead.

“Gugu?” I called but she ignored me.

Something strange was going on. I jerked my hand out of Grip’s clasp and blocked Gugu’s way but she just passed through me. A mountain of snow fell over me and awakened the fine hairs all over my body. But there was something else that made me shiver. She was enveloped by darkness and it was leading her inside our booth.

“Hypnotized,” Grip spelled out and followed her.

“Is it serious?” I walked after him.

His silence answered my question. It was beyond that mere adjective. My jaw dropped on the ground when we set foot in the booth. Different beautiful framed artworks were hanged on the walls and some floating in the air in varrying heights attached to the ceiling using thin white strings.
