CHAPTER 31

LIAM’S POV.

I got to Freda’s workplace twenty five minutes later and called her hoping she’d pick my call immediately.

After several times the phone rang, she finally picked it and I heaved a sigh of relief.

I walked into the hospital at her behest and went to the second floor, trying to locate her office with the description she gave me.

After what seemed like three minutes, i finally located it.

I saw her seated majestically on her seat the moment I stepped foot on the floor, her face glowing bright with happiness at my arrival.

She waved energetically when I made eye contact with her. “Li, you made it! Come here,” She said and I smiled lightly before taking a few strides towards her, my eyes not leaving hers.

I held the file firmly till I got to the table and dropped it.

So many thoughts running through my mind.

“Oh, thanks so much,” She said hastily and I simply nodded.
