CHAPTER 34

FREDA’S POV.

I was in my bedroom sleeping peacefully because I was given an off, just for my phone to ring loudly.

I tossed around the bed and picked the phone, and opened an eye just to see Mrs Smith as the caller ID.

“Hello,” She said immediately I picked the call. with sleepy eyes.

The next thing I heard shocked me to the marrows.

I was needed in the office!

Obviously, I love working and caring for the patients, but I needed rest.

I had been happy since the previous night thinking I was given a day off, just for me to be summoned to the hospital with immediate effect.

I sluggishly stood from the bed, and dragged my legs into the bathroom.

I entered the bathroom and stayed in the bathtub for close to 20 minutes, enjoying the way the water massaged my skin.

I came out a few minutes later, wrapped in a towel as I quickly went towards my closet.

It took me close to thirty minutes before I was able to settle on what I was going to wear.

I settled for a white shirt
