A New Chapter of Life

There was no solution to this problem. And I was too tired to prolong the debate.

So when Trevor decided to get on my side, I felt relieved and nodded in agreement. “Thank you.” Then I looked into my mom’s eyes and said, “Goodbye, Mom.”

After that, with Trevor and Andrew behind me, we walked out of the Alpha’s room.

Nothing happened for the next few days after I decided to leave the pack and live my own life. I returned to the dorm and attended my classes as if nothing had happened.

I was worried about my tuition fees, but when I tried to find out how much I still had to pay, I learned that my tuition had already been paid in full.

“You did it, didn’t you?” I accused Andrew when we met at Houghton Commons for lunch.

It felt strange to be able to meet Andrew in public without worrying about anything, now that my pack knew about our relationship.
