CLARA

"My apologies; I will do well to bring him early to school."

The teacher could tell from my tone that I could not care less about whatever she was talking about. She then proceeded to give her last statement before taking Benjamin to the school.

"Mrs. Clara, I want to clarify to you that if this happens again, the school authorities will have no choice but to dismiss Benjamin."

"Very well."

I replied just before rolling up the car window as I signaled the driver to drive off. The words of the teacher did not cause any form of fright to me as I went on about my business.

"Take me to the city's old folks home, I need to see someone there."

Just as the driver zoomed off into the road under my command, I made a very important call with Paul's ex-boss who happened to be a few miles away from the city.

"Mister Pietro, I believe you know the reason why I am calling you."

I spoke with anger slowly growing in my tone. I was so furious as to why he did not get the job done.
