CLARA

The curtains in my room lit up with deemed lights as the rays from the sun slowly permeated the dark room. The room was cold as I still slept in it.

I woke up to the call of my son, as he was nearly prepared for school. My much-needed nap was drawn to a close by the persistent call of my son and his hand trying to drag me off the bed.

"Junior, what is it?"

I asked with a clumsy tone, as I still wasn't wide awake. My sleepy head was still not ready to get off the bed, as I seemed to enjoy my bed even more at the moment.

"Mom, it's almost time for me to go, and I don't want to be late."

The persistent cry of my son for my attention was disturbing, and as I love my time, I could no longer stall the much-needed attention from my son as I stood up and walked out with him.

"Go and get ready for school, Benjamin. I will be with you in a minute."

I finally sent him off, as I still needed to clear my head after such a deep sleep, I still wanted to rest but couldn't resist the inevitable
