"It could have been another hit-and-run scenario and you are just here wasting our time."

The detective responded with a tone of disbelief as he did not seem convinced by the story Paul told, he was acting far different from the usual detective he would present himself as in the station.

"Are you even a real detective or did you just manage to convince people that you are, I do not see why you should doubt my truth after all I am in a hospital bed and the perpetrator is nowhere near here."
