All these while that my father was hospitalized, the vice president never called me or even visited the hospital and now that he heard the president was back on his feet, he decided to show face.

He shook hands with my father and they took pictures immediately.

I detest such behavior. He is full of pretense and I don't know why my father is not seeing that.

I am very sure that he wanted my father out of the seat so that he would be called the acting president, of which he will rule after my father's tenure must have ended.

"I am glad that you are back on your feet. The presidential seat misses you."

They all laughed. The press met the vice president.

"Sir, we would like to know how you feel right now?"

"I am so glad. The whole nation would have been in mourning if anything had happened to the president, but as you can see, we are all happy," he was laughing sheepishly.
