45. Alpha King is back

Lona's POV

After Alpha King left, I was alone in my room holding my head and sobbing. In front of the Alpha King, I still managed to maintain some dignity for myself. But he just left, I could no longer hold back my tears and cry as loud as I could.

I could accept everyone turning their backs on me and helping Rose but I couldn't accept the Alpha king defending her. He was my mate, was the one who would be with me for the rest of my life. I did not allow him to take sides with others, and if he insisted on taking sides with others, I would consider him a stranger.

Come to think of it, I felt like I was a little over-emotional. It was true that Alpha King shouldn't be defending Rose, especially when I didn't like her, but the Alpha King hadn't really done anything too much.

Maybe I was too sensitive.

With that thought, I fell into a deep sleep. When I woke up, my eyes were still red because I cried a lot. Alpha King wasn't in the room, he was probably still in the office.
