"Did you get the pages for the maths homework?" I asked Ava as soon as I got back to class from a bathroom break only that Ava's mind was elsewhere. "Ava!" I ran upstairs and disappeared inside my room breathing hard. I couldn't believe my eyes or even any part of my body but most of all, I was mad. I was at school early the following morning for two reasons. Firstly, it was because my father had agreed to let me use my car before the doctor's appointment.
